Found you Googling “LAUEBENSTEIN”. I found out two years ago my paternal grandfather’s birth name was actually LAUBENSTINE and his ancestors LAUBENSTEIN from the Rheinland-Pfalz area of Germany. My wife, son and I just returned from there two weeks ago where we visited our ancestral villages. Do you know if your family was the Pennsylvania branch or the Wisconsin branch?
